The Arms hark back to various Boyd family arms in Scotland, particularly Kilmarnock, whilst the Greyhounds reflect the armigers patron saint, Dominic de Guzman and the Hounds of God. The three Crosses Paty commemorate baptismal vows and his ordination as a Presbyterian and Benedictine Oblate. The Arms, with various augmentations, are also registered in Malta, Italy, Spain, Ghana and The Lebanon all locations where he has worked helping Christians at risk or in need.

GrantedRegistered with the American College of Heraldry on the Eighteenth of February 2019.
