Vice-President of the Manorial Society and Lord of the Manor of Barnham Broom in Norfolk. The design of the arms and crest reflect this. The Church of Barnham Broom is dedicated to Saints Peter and Paul, hence the blue Petrine cross. The tinctures and lions refer to earlier Lords of the Manor: the families of Mortimer, Strange, Warren, Kimberley, FitzRalf, Herlyng, Chamberlain and Woodhouse. The Barry wavy bar of the crest refers to the River Yare which follows through Barnham Broom. More personal allusions are represented by the Star of David and Hebrew Motton, together with the harp of the crest. Dr Davis is a musician and plays the violin.
